Garden Court is a unique neighborhood of historical homes located in the West Bayfront District of downtown Erie, PA. It consists of 27 homes built around a central, shared courtyard. The houses reveal a range of architectural influences including Prairie Mission, Arts & Crafts, Dutch Colonial, and American Foursquare as well as Colonial, Federal and Tudor Revival styles.
The neighborhood encompasses the block along West 6th Street (Millionaires’ Row) bounded by Cherry, Poplar and West 7th streets. The center garden extends the full length of the block and is used as a recreation and gathering space by residents. It is planted with variety of impressive trees, flowering shrubs and perennials. An oval drive surrounds the garden, providing private off-street parking and courtyard access.
